TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE FREE GARMENT PATTERN PRIZE DRAW
1. General
1. 1 You agree to these terms and conditions by entering the prize draw.
1.2 Organizers of the prize draw are Pattern Cutting Studio Ltd.
1.3 Pattern Cutting Studio reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or to amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
1.4 The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
1. Eligibility for entry.
1.1 The prize draw is open to all attendees of the Textile Forum on 21 & 22 March 2023.
1.2There is a limit of one entry per individual or company.
1.3 You are not required to pay a fee to participate in the prize draw.
2. How to enter
2.1 The prize draw will include all subscribers to our mailing list and all new subscribers up to Midday on 30th March 2023. Those who enter after that time and date will not be eligible for the prize drawing.
2.2 You can enter the prize draw by subscribing to our mailing list via our website link here.
3. The prize
3.1 The prize will be one digital garment pattern in .DXF .RUL format and will contain up to 15 pattern pieces, one 3D rendered garment toile in white color and a 15- minute technical Zoom call.
3.2. If your pattern or our services exceed what is described in paragraph 3.1, you will be invoiced for the difference in price in accordance with our price list.
3.3 A cash alternative will not be offered in lieu of the prize, which is non- exchangeable, non-transferrable, and non-transferable.
3.4 Following the announcement of the winner, the winner must provide a style for development within four weeks.
3.5 Pattern Cutting Studio will provide the Winner with ready-to-use digital production patterns within six weeks of the submission of the style.
3.6 To achieve the timely delivery of the pattern, the winner must agree to promptly respond to all communications with Pattern Cutting Studio. Emails must be responded to within 2 working days.
4. Winner announcement
4.1 The winner will be selected at random.
4.2 We will notify the winner by email after 30 March 2023 via the email address you provided during the subscription.
4.3 The Pattern Cutting Studio will attempt to contact the winner by email at least two times.
4.4. The winner will lose their right to the prize if they do not respond to the second email notifying them of their win within 7 days of receiving the second email, and Pattern Cutting Studio reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner in their place.
5. Data protection and publicity
5.1 In entering the prize draw, you consent to the use of the personal information you provide to Pattern Cutting Studio for administering the prize draw. This is in addition to those other purposes, as defined in paragraph 5.2, 5.3
5.2 The winner agrees to the announcement of their first name and social media handle via our social media channels and newsletter.
5.3 The winner agrees to be interviewed, for the interview to be published on our website and showcase the ready-made product after the pattern has been delivered through our website and social media channels.
5.4 Pattern cutting studio’s Privacy Notice governs the use of all personal information.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Pattern Cutting Studio does not accept responsibility for incomplete or inaccurate contact information.
6.2 Pattern Cutting Studio Ltd does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize.
6.3 Pattern Cutting Studio does not provide any form of technical, practical or IT support for this prize. Upon receipt, the prize winner is responsible for all warranty and performance issues relating to the pattern.
